Dr. Amer Johri is a Professor in the Department of Medicine, at Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Canadian Society of Echocardiography. He is the publisher of the POCUS Journal. He is a past Chair of the ASE Circulation and Vascular Ultrasound (CAVUS) Council. Dr. Johri holds multiple CIHR grants as PI and received a Heart and Stroke Foundation career award. His research focus is on the incorporation of AI for vascular risk stratification and prevention. He has developed multiple educational tools in the areas of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, pulmonary hypertension, and POCUS for geographically remote areas.
