Dr. Adams completed medical school and internal medicine/cardiology residencies at the University of Toronto. He then went on to do an Echocardiography fellowship at Sunnybrook Health Sciences center in Toronto. He worked as a community cardiologist in the Niagara Health system for 5 years before transitioning to academic practice at McMaster University where he has been a clinical educator since 2020. His clinical interests are in general cardiology, echocardiography and cardio-renal medicine. He is the current Program Director of the Cardiology Residency Training Program at McMAster University.
