Objectives

At the end of this Conference, participants will be able to:

Describe the current role and application of echocardiography in patients with suspected and overt cardiac disease
Identify how novel and evolving echocardiography techniques can be applied to the clinical practice of echocardiography
Describe how echocardiography integrates with other cardiac imaging modalities to optimally evaluate the patient with suspected or confirmed cardiovascular disease

ACCREDITATION FOR PHYSICIANS

Accreditation Statement – Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada

This event is an accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada and approved by the Canadian Cardiovascular Society. You may claim a maximum of 16.5 hours for in-person attendance or 16.25 hours for virtual attendance.

Asynchronous viewing of the event recordings allows you to claim up to 0.5 credits per hour (see more detailed information below). You must be registered to the event prior to April 25 to be able to access the online content.

Please claim credits commensurate with the extent of your participation in CSE 2025.

International Accreditation

The CSE Hybrid Echo Weekend in-person or hybrid option offers 16.5 hours of Section 1 MOC credits with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and this activity is also eligible for credits within the following accreditation systems: American Medical Association (AMA), European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP), and European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAC).

Certificate of Attendance

Certificate of Attendance – to be completed by May 16

To receive your Certificate of Attendance to CSE 2025, you must complete the evaluation form, including a global evaluation as well as speaker evaluations, by May 16. All participants who have completed the evaluation form will receive their certificate by email by May 31. After May 16, please complete the evaluation and contact the Conference Secretariat at info@cseweekend.ca.

Claiming Credits for Watching Content On Demand

If you have missed any sessions, you may watch them at your convenience until April 1, 2026 by accessing the event web app. You may claim Section 2 Self-Learning Maintenance of Certification credits for watching recorded sessions.

Option 1: Watching recordings of accredited CPD activities is eligible in the Royal College Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program under MOC Section 2: Individual Learning for Educational Content Review (watching). You may claim 0.5 credits per hour.
Option 2: Planned Learning - You may create a personal learning project to address a need, problem, issue/goal relevant to your professional practice, and claim 2 credits per hour.
