Dr. Wendy Tsang is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto and a Cardiologist and Clinician-Investigator at the Toronto General Hospital. She holds the Melanie Munk Chair in Advanced Echocardiography and leads a Complex Valve Disease clinic. She was a member of the writing groups for the American Society of Echocardiography 2012 3D Guidelines, the 2015 Chamber Quantification Guidelines and the 2024 Prosthetic Valve Guidelines. She is the Chair-elect for the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada Area of Focused Competency subcommittee in Adult Echocardiography. She also serves on the Guest Editor Panel for Circulation and the Editorial Board for CJC Open. Her research focuses on valvular heart disease, 3D echocardiography, and artificial intelligence.
